Gain clarity and confidence to transition into fulfilling new ventures

What is career transition coaching?

Career transition coaching can help you to explore and understand what you want to change about your career. If you’ve spent many years in your current career but are feeling disillusioned and stuck it can take a lot of courage to make a change. We spend an average of a third of our lifetime at work, but if you don’t enjoy that time, it’s a big chunk of your life spent being unhappy.

Through personal development and growth which comes with my coaching, you will discover ways to think about whether your current work situation is right for you and if not, you will gain the courage to take the first steps and you can start getting excited about your future, having more fulfilment and feeling more passionate about how you spend your working life.

I work with people who want to do something very different with their lives, from a long term career to a different profession altogether and also with those who want to be their own boss and start their own business.

Are you following your true calling?

Humans are ‘programmed’ to follow what everyone else is doing and conform to the expectations of society to stay safe.

What did you do that was expected of you as you grew up? Going to university, getting a good job, getting married, having a family are just a few examples.

Are you stuck in “safe mode”?

The desire for safety stems back to our evolutional origins when we were being hunted by sabre-tooth tigers; it was safer in groups. The human brain has not evolved with the modern world and we have a tendency to default to ‘safe mode’ and stick with the known behaviour of a group.

But what if you want something different from your life? The desire to stay safe is so strong that many people don’t change anything about their lives, stay stuck, and don’t follow their true calling.

Are you truly happy and fulfilled?

Career transition coaching is about finding out how true you are to the life you really want, and helping you step away from the expectations of others’ to find your life’s purpose in the form of a career. When you have the life you really desire and are doing the things you want to do, this creates a huge positive change and energy in everything around you; your feelings of wellbeing, your health, the opportunities that arise will improve dramatically. Ultimately you will be happier when you are true to yourself and you are following your life’s purpose

If any of this resonates with you, my coaching could help.

Its likely that if you have read this far, that time drags in your current role and that Sunday evening dread happens each week which affects your weekend activities. About Me

I am Anne Pearson, a wife and mum of 2 and I live with my family in a picturesque rural village in Rutland.

Extensive experience

I studied nursing at the University of Liverpool and spent some time working in the NHS before heading off to travel and work in Australia and New Zealand. On my return to the UK I spent 19 years serving in the Royal Air Force where I worked alongside and led teams of nursing and medical professionals on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. For 3 years of my RAF career I was privileged to coach the officer cadet leaders of the future at RAF College Cranwell.

I have experienced austere environments first hand and I have seen how being challenged can help individuals understand their strengths and weaknesses and find out who they really are. Often the difficult times can make someone stronger if they are willing to dig deep to learn more about themselves.

Discover what’s holding you back!

I began Credence Coaching out of a desire to help people, understand why they behave the way they do, discover what is holding them back from their goals and achievements, and help them to successfully move forward to a career that is ultimately more fulfilling.

I am an EME practitioner, a method of coaching recognised for coaching from the heart and exposing true self in those we help. I also hold an Institute of Leadership and Management coaching and mentoring certification.
